What is Reiki?

The word Reiki comes from Japanese Kanji, and is represented by two kanji – “Rei” (spiritual consciousness) and “Ki” (biofield energy). Reiki is a Japanese technique of vibrational energy that works through the human biofield to activate a person’s healing energy from within. Reiki works to strengthen the human biofield through our main energy channels, or chakras, through the intentional movement of life-force energy known as “Ki”. (Chi or Prana) This energy works with your body by activating and balancing your energy centers and removing energetic blocks. Eastern medicine and quantum physics have shown that not only is your biofield connected to your physical body, but that the health of your body begins in your biofield.

Reiki is both powerful and gentle. In it’s long history of use it has aided in helping to heal virtually every known illness and injury. It is always beneficial and works in harmony and improves the effectiveness of all other types of therapy treatments, including medical and psychological.

A session feels like a wonderful, glowing radiance and has many benefits including positive states of consciousness and spiritual experiences.

Other Reiki Benefits Include:

lowered heart rate, blood pressure, and stress hormones

increased immune strength

clearer mind

better sleep

My Sessions

My sessions are pretty unique, in that I practice traditional Reiki, but I have also incorporated some of my favorite relaxation and healing modalities. I offer a combination of curated meditative music, aromatherapy, and some simple yet powerful work with the subconscious.

Sessions are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes. In all sessions you have the option of adding gemstone healing and some tuning fork sound healing to really make it a full experience.

Most sessions are now held at my home in Orange County or I am available to go to your home on the west side of Orange County. I bring my table, sound tools, music, and everything we will need.

I also offer Reiki for dogs and cats! This is some of my favorite work.
